Pros

Most customer reviews say this is a sturdy stand for holding a single light weight microphone. The consensus is that it works very well for light duties such as a home recording studio or rehearsal room.

Cons

Quite a number of customers who reviewed it pointed out that it becomes unsteady if you start adding additional weight such as a second mic, heavy pop filter, or a mic with a preamp attached or built in. Some even said their heavy condenser mics got damaged by the stand tipping over.

Overall

Not recommended for regular gigging or holding heavy studio mics, but for light duties it is highly recommended.
