Martin M540 92/8 Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings

Overview

Though Martin is known more for their guitars than their strings, Martin has actually been making their own strings since 1970. The strings are made from phosphor bronze, so they’re going to give you the warm tone and smooth highs you expect from the material.

The cool thing about Martin’s strings is how affordable they are. They generally retail for a bit under Ernie Ball’s strings, and they don’t have any of the quality concerns that come with that brand. Their strings are always of a really consistent quality, so even though they’re really affordable they should perform the same as any other set of strings.
