Donner DAG-1E Dreadnought Acoustic Electric Guitar

Gearank Recommendation

The DAG-1E was on our recommended list for Acoustic-Electric Guitars Under $200 from March 2020 until February 2021.

Overview

The Donner DAG-1E is an affordable acoustic-electric guitar that follows the familiar dreadnought shape.

As a conventional dreadnought, it features familiar tonewoods, which include mahogany for the back and sides, and spruce for the top.

The neck is also crafted from mahogany with a "C" shape profile.

Electronic components include an under-saddle piezo pickup with an active preamp that houses basic EQ controls.

While all of the above are already good for the price, Donner bundles this guitar with a capo, guitar strap, a pickguard (so you have a choice if you want your guitar to have a pickguard or not), a bundle of picks, and an extra set of guitar strings.

If you're looking for a traditional looking acoustic-electric guitar that you can get for cheap then check out the Donner DAG-1E.
