The Bose F1 first appeared on our recommended list for PA Subwoofers in the January 2018 edition where it remained until being out-ranked by other subs in November 2019.

Then in October 2020 its ratings were strong enough to go back on the list where it remained until being out-ranked again in November 2021.

Overview

The Bose F1 Subwoofer is designed to be compact and portable, while still having good projection.

Unlike conventional subwoofers with single LF drivers, this one sports two 10" drivers, which adds to its projection while having improved punch and clarity.

This design also allows the F1 Subwoofer to handle fullrange speaker duties when needed.

As expected, it matches perfectly with other F1 Series speakers with its built-in mounting bracket.

Being very light at just 55lbs is also another standout feature of this subwoofer, making it ideal for mobile setups.

The Bose F1 Subwoofer will appeal to those who already own F1 series speakers, and to those who are looking for something portable.
