The Mk1 model that it superseded had previously held that #1 rank.

Overview

The Boss RC-505 MkII has superseded the original RC-505, with longer recording time, better audio quality, enhanced effects, more input and output options, improved routing, and expanded controls.

Note that the MkII is heavier and bigger in size compared to its predecessor.

Given that this is a tabletop looper, it is not ideal if you’re a musician who is busy with your hands.
